  • Training for Wildlife Observers who are contracting qualified individuals to serve as Wildlife Observers for the Deepwater Horizon Incident cleanup activities.
  • This course is for homeowners seeking a permit for 10 or Fewer Gopher Tortoise Burrows.

  • The Beach Driver Training videos will introduce you to some of the animals that use Florida's beaches, and teach you how to reduce the chances that they will be injured or killed by vehicles you operate.  FWC's Coastal Wildlife Conservation Initiative (CWCI) developed this online training series primarily for service drivers (such as lifeguards, emergency responders, or maintenance personnel) in northeast Florida.  However, the information is valuable for anyone who operates vehicles on Florida beaches.
  • This online course is for training new and mentored Project WILD/K-12 Program volunteer facilitators. Current facilitators and welcome to join as refresher course.



  • Plain Language Online will help you understand and implement the state of Florida's Plain Language Initiative. This course is one of the required courses of the Supervisory and Beginning Leadership Tier of the FWC Leadership Development Process.

  • FWC Supervisor Online Learning (FWC101) is required of all new FWC supervisors within one year of taking a supervisory position within the Agency.
  • FWC Volunteer Management
  • On this site, you will take the Vessel Livery Operator's Online Course and Test and receive a Certificate of Completion if you pass the test. Here, you will learn how to properly instruct customers in the operation of rental vessels and about Florida vessel laws and regulations. While this site is designed for vessel livery owners and operators, the general public may also view the course. You will need approximately two hours to go through the course and then take the test.
